Male circumcision is the removal of the foreskin from the human penis.
Indications for circumcision
Phimosis (The foreskin of the penis cannot be pulled back past the Glans penis)
Religious or Cultural reasons
Hypospadias or Epispadias
Curvature of the head of the penis (chordee)
Bleeding disorders (hemophilia)
It’s a day care procedure, under Local Anaesthesia or General Anaesthesia, the surgical procedure is done. Then a circular dressing is applied around the sutures for 3 days, post of which the patient has to take bath and keep applying antiseptic cream on the suture line three times a day till the sutures fall off.
The patient will feel highly sensitive glans penis, which will reduce by wearing underwear.
